Where are you located?

The Ummatis is located in Michigan, USA and all orders are shipped from our USA location.

Does The Ummatis have a retail store that is open to customers?

We operate entirely online so all orders are taken through our website and shipped to you directly.


Customer Accounts

Do I have to create an account or can I just checkout as a guest?

 We have checkout option as guest but we recommend customers to create an account.  By creating a customer account you are able to save your cart, wishlists and favorite products and place orders quickly and easily without having to re-enter your information.  You can also view your order history and submit returns.

 How do you use the information I provide when I create an account?

 The Ummatis never sells or shares any information about you with any third party. Any information you provide to us is kept strictly confidential and is used only by us to serve you.

Since we use payment processors we also do not have access to any of your financial information such as your credit/debit card number and we also do not store any of your financial information on our end.  For more details please read our Privacy Policy.



How do I place an order?

 To place an order please add the items you want to purchase to your shopping cart. You can do this by selecting the size or color of the item (if applicable) and clicking 'Add to Cart' on the product page.  Once you've added all your items, click 'Checkout' to go through the checkout process.  You will be asked to enter your address and payment information during checkout.  For assistance with placing an order please feel free to Contact Us 

Is it safe to shop on your site?

 We take every precaution to protect our users' information. Customers can rest assured that any personal information entered on our site is secured and encrypted. Our entire site (all pages) are secured using strong SSL encryption with the latest encryption standards. While on our site, you will see a lock icon next to the address bar of most Web browsers - this identifies the security status of our site.

How do I cancel or change an order?

 You may be able to cancel or change your order if it still has a pending or processing status.  Please  Contact Us here or by replying to your order confirmation.  We will do our best to make the changes you request. Unfortunately, if your order has already been shipped we are no longer able to make changes or cancel it.

Do you take custom orders?

 We can't accommodate custom orders at this time but we are constantly adding new styles so please Contact Us and let us know what you're looking for and it may be something we design in the future.

Do you carry all sizes of clothing?

 We aim to carry a wide variety of sizing to accommodate different heights and body sizes. See Sizing Information for further details.

How can I make sure the item will fit me perfectly before I order it?

 If you are unsure about your size – please don't guess!  Please Contact Us with your measurements and we will advise you on which size to order.  We would hate for you to be disappointed by ordering a size that wont fit the way you want it to.

 How do I measure myself?

Please see our Sizing Information for detailed instructions on how to measure yourself to make sure the garment will fit properly.

What if my item doesn't fit?

If your item doesn't fit you may return it or exchange it for a different size. For more information please see our Returns & Exchanges.

Can you alter or hem my item for me before you ship it?

 Our garments are ready made (not custom made to order) so we are not able to make any alterations to the garments.  You can usually find a tailor or seamstress in any city to have your item altered once you receive it.



How much is shipping?

 We also offer free shipping within USA over $75 USD or flat rate shipping of $5 for orders below $75.

For international orders, the shipping rate is based on the total weight of your shipment and is calculated when you checkout.

We do our best to offer low shipping rates while still providing quick delivery times.  We do not profit off shipping and instead we pay part of the cost ourselves to keep the rates as reasonable as possible.

Do you ship internationally?

 Yes, we are happy to be able to ship to customers worldwide. If for some reason you do not see your country during checkout please don't hesitate to Contact Us 

I live in Michigan - can I pickup my order?

 Yes, we do offer local pickup. Please Contact Us for further details.

 How long will it take for me to receive my order?

 Delivery times vary based on the country that the order is being shipped to and the shipping method you selected for your order. The delivery times are listed during checkout and on your order confirmation email to give you an idea of when you should receive your package.  If you have any questions about your shipment please don't hesitate to Contact Us 

Do you provide a tracking number?

 Tracking is included on all shipments. 

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

Your order will be dispatched within 3-5 business (working) days. Orders that are being paid by Western Union transfer will be dispatched 1-3 business days after we receive your payment.  Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery time will depend on the shipping method you selected during checkout.

Will I be charged customs, duty fees, or taxes on delivery?

 Depending on the import laws of your country, it is possible that you may be charged customs, duty fees or taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and not The Ummatis.  For more information please see Shipping Guide


What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • All major credit cards and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Western Union 

We do not accept cheque or money order payments sent in the mail.  If you prefer to pay by cash we recommend paying by Western Union. You will be able to pay in cash at your local office and we will receive the payment much faster than if you were to send a cheque/money order in the mail.

We do accept cash for local customers who prefer pick up.


Can I return my item?

You are welcome to return your purchase within 30 days from when your order was shipped.  Items may be returned for an exchange or refund and all returned items must still be in brand new, unwashed and unworn condition with the original tags still attached.  Clearance and factory seconds items are final sale and may not be returned.

Do you refund the original shipping charges I paid?

 Shipping charges that you paid for your original order are not refundable.  If you are returning for a refund only the purchase price of the item being returned will be refunded.

Who pays for the return shipping?

 It is the customer's responsibility to pay the shipping cost to ship the return item back to us.  If you are exchanging for something else then we cover the cost to ship the exchange item back to you.
